Pet Surgery

Dr. Shayla Mihelich has worked in veterinary medicine since 2001 and earned her DVM from Iowa State University in 2011. She is passionate about compassionate care and the human-animal bond. Outside the clinic, she enjoys creative hobbies like knitting, cake decorating, and performing in musical theater and her local band. At home, she stays busy with her two children and a lively mix of pets, including dogs, a bearded dragon, axolotls, and fish.

Dr. Shayla Mihelich

Medical Director

Dr. Chelsea Stoutenburg, a University of Minnesota DVM graduate, began her veterinary career in 2025 after years as a veterinary assistant. Passionate about patient care and client communication, she also hopes to expand into food animal medicine to support rural communities. Outside the clinic, she loves motorcycle racing, snowboarding, cabin getaways, and time with her pets - two bulldogs, a rabbit, and a cat.

Dr. Jenna Frank, a University of Minnesota graduate, earned her DVM in 2023 after five years as a veterinary assistant and technician. Passionate about compassionate, collaborative care, she strives to create a stress-free experience for pets and their families. Outside the clinic, she enjoys hiking, camping, traveling, pottery, and life with her dogs Luna and Lilo, and cats Cricket and Mushu.

Dr. Jenna Frank

Dr. Webster, owner of Pine City Animal Hospital since 2006, graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. A former Army Veterinary Corps officer, he served in Washington and Okinawa before working in emergency medicine in Detroit. Now settled in Pine City with his wife and four children, he enjoys outdoor adventures, sports photography, and serving the local community's pets and families.

Dr. Gene Webster

Brittanie Dahl has worked in veterinary medicine since 2016 and became PCAH's Practice Manager in 2021. Passionate about client education and patient care, she enjoys supporting veterinarians and working directly with animals. Outside of work, she stays active with her two daughters, three pets, and hobbies like crafting, camping, and home projects.

Ryan joined the veterinary field in 2023 with a passion for creating stress-free visits for pets and their owners. Known for his calm, caring approach, he enjoys carpentry, outdoor activities, archery, and gaming.

Dina, a Veterinary Technician with over a decade of experience, has been in the field since 2013 after earning her Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology. She's known for her calm, caring approach that helps pets feel at ease. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, fishing, gardening, and relaxing with her favorite shows.

Jenna Clearman began her veterinary career in 2020 and joined Pine City Animal Hospital as a technician in 2023. She brings a calm, upbeat energy to the clinic, focusing on compassionate care and building strong connections with pets and their families. Outside of work, Jenna enjoys traveling, cabin time with her husband, and adventures with her dog, Iggy.

Alyssa, a Certified Veterinary Technician since 2007, brings compassion, experience, and a love of learning to her work. She values building meaningful connections with pets and their families while helping animals live healthier, happier lives. Outside the clinic, she enjoys life on her hobby farm, hiking with her dogs, and exploring Minnesota's North Shore.

Certified Veterinary Technician

Anna has over 10 years of veterinary experience and is passionate about patient care and client education. A University of Minnesota Animal Science graduate, she continues to grow her knowledge through ongoing education. Outside the clinic, she enjoys gardening, building her hobby farm, and spending time with her dogs, Ash and Fern, with chickens, goats, and cattle soon joining the mix.

Anna Schiller

Rebecca Thompson, CVT and Cat Friendly Veterinary Professional, has been caring for animals since 2017 after earning her degree in Veterinary Technology. Passionate about low-stress care, she strives to make every visit comfortable for her patients. In her free time, she enjoys arts and crafts, gaming, music, dog sports, and Dungeons & Dragons with friends.
